Ravi, a promising singer, marries Kajal, but is soon murdered by his greedy uncle and cousins. Kajal lives the traditional life of a Hindu widow until she is swept off her feet by wealthy businessman Raja. They have a happy married life until Ravi suddenly reappears, dazed and confused.
